    Description

    Job Description

    Medi Home Health & Hospice, a division of Medical Services of America Inc., is looking for a Full-Time / PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team in Altoona (Blair), PA.

    As a part of a collaborative team, the CNA will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Case Manager and Clinical Manager to deliver personal care services aimed at enhancing the well-being of patients and their families. Some key responsibilities include:

    • Providing personal care services like monitoring vital signs, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with hygiene, and more.
    • Practicing safety and proper body mechanics when assisting with mobility.
    • Ensuring adequate nutrition and hydration for patients.
    • Observing and documenting changes in patient conditions.
    • Being prepared to handle emergency situations effectively.

    Job Requirements

    • Must be licensed/certified as a CNA or Home Health Aide in PA.
    • Minimum of one year experience as an Aide.
    • Previous experience in Home Health and/or Hospice is a plus.
    • Valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.
    • Reliable transportation is necessary.
