The Urology Nurse Practitioner provides advanced nursing care to patients with urological disorders under the supervision of a urologist or independently within the scope of their licensure.Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., AANP or ANCC).- Specialty certification in urology (e.g., Certified Urologic Nurse Practitioner, CUNP) preferred or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
