Job DescriptionAre you seeking an exciting and fulfilling career in the eye care industry? Look no further We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join this team as an Optometric/Medical Technician at this thriving boutique optometric practice in La Crosse, WI.
You will perform preliminary testing and assist the optometrists in providing exceptional patient care. No experience is required as training will be provided. If you are willing to learn and want to provide the best patient care.An optometric technician works with the optometrist to ensure everything in the eye care practice runs smoothly. From conducting preliminary eye exams to gathering patient medical histories, these multitasking maestros are the backbone of the practice.
They assist the optometrist in performing diagnostic tests, such as measuring visual acuity and depth perception and preparing patients for further examinations.
Additionally, they may educate patients on contact lens insertion and removal and maintain and sterilize equipment. With their exceptional organizational skills and compassionate patient care, optometric technicians are crucial in providing top-notch eye care.The perks are as bright as the future ahead.
