Mercy Behavioral Health is seeking a BE/BC, full-time Inpatient, Adult Psychiatrist for our 32-bed unit at our beautiful, state-of-the-art Hospital in Joplin, MO.

~32-bed inpatient, adult psych beds, 22 beds designated for general, 10 beds acute psych an 5 beds designated for mild medical issues
~ Strong team concept with RN"s, LPN's, Patient Care Associates, Social Worker, Case Managers, and Group Leaders
~ Virtual Behavioral Health provides clinicians to complete BH screening exams on patients in ED or med floors to determine needs for inpatient BH admissions or consultations
~Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners through Virtual BH Cover call 5 pm - 7 am.
~ Caseload expectation 15-18 patients plus medical-surgical consultants
~ Strategically designed unit is on 8th floor of hospital with broad support of medical specialties to consult when needed
~ System wide EPIC EHR
