    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.
    We have an onsite, Special Educationposition with a school district that has a welcoming, supportive team. The district prefers school-based experience, but it will consider speaking with those who work in different settings. The district is in a laidback, inclusive community. Interviews are being conducted now, so please send me your most current resume to be considered for this position

    Job Details:
    • Onsite near the Sun City, Arizona area
    • Start in August
    • # students/sites and caseload information will be discussed more in depth with special services' director during interview

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
    • Valid state(AZ)teaching certification/license in Special Education.
    • Prior experience working with students with special needs in inner city is preferred
    • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best
    Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
    • Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment
    • Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
    • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
