    Senior, Data Analyst - Manager job at Walmart Inc., Bentonville, AR.

    Responsibilities

    • Join Walmarts Global Audit Data Analytics Team and help shape the future of risk management through innovative data solutions.
    • This is a unique opportunity to leverage your analytics expertise to drive impactful decisions and deliver value to millions of customers worldwide.
    • Partner with Audit and business leaders to identify, understand, and mitigate risk across Walmart.
    • Use advanced analytics and automation to deliver actionable insights, supporting the mission to help customers save money and live better.
    • Support Internal Audit with machine learning GenAI and advanced analytics under the direction of the Director of Data & Analytics.
    • Understand business problems, analyze data, design and implement technical solutions, and provide insights and recommendations.
    • Collaborate with senior team members and business stakeholders to redefine digital Audit processes.
    • Lead the delivery of analytics products, tools, and support for decision-making, including development of insightful solutions.
    • Build and propose project plans through data discovery, exploration, analysis, and visualization/reporting.
    • Develop and create database solutions with a focus on automation and new technology to improve Audit Data and Analytics processes.
    • Present recommendations to leadership with compelling narratives and visualizations.

    What youll bring

    • 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Optimization, or Data Analytics, preferably with exposure to audit within a large corporate environment.
    • Proficiency with coding (Python or Java, etc.), querying large datasets, building data pipelines, providing data insights and solutions, and adhering to data quality standards.
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and comfort navigating ambiguity.
    • Proven ability to develop executive-level metrics and reports.
    • Strong skills in data discovery, cleaning, and transformation.
    • Identify root causes of problems and brainstorm data solutions to address and solve problems.
    • Experience with querying, cleaning, and transforming data using SQL, Python, and tools like BigQuery, Power BI, Tableau, and MS Visual Studio Code.

    • Option 1: Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Finance or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
    • Option 2: Masters degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
    • Option 3: 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.

    • Successful completion of assessments in data analysis and Business Intelligence tools and scripting languages (for example, SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau).
