Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. The shift will be 12 hours, with hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and includes a rotation schedule based on department needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing care and support to patients ranging from neonates to adults. Responsibilities include utilizing specialized respiratory equipment and following established protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment such as Puritan Bennett 980, 840, and LTV1200
• Provide support in the nursery and emergency room as needed
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC system
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP certification preferred
• Experience with EPIC documentation system within the past 2 years is required
• Flexible with scheduling, including working every other weekend
• Experience with the neonatal/pediatric population is a plus
