    Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

    Experience:


    • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.


    • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.


    • Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

    Requirements:


    • Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required for submission).


    • This role will require floating to multiple units


    • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.


    • Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.


    • No current placement allowed at Program: Great River Health System (Direct) Program - Main.

    Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

    Additional Details:

    Required Credentials:

    • Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance and a basic dysrhythmia test out will be given first week of assignment. this must be passed in order to work on our Telemetry/Med surg unit.
    • Driver's License/State ID

    Shift & Scheduling:

    • 36 or 48 hours per week
    • ACU required every other weekend rotation

    Floating Requirements: Floating is a requirement in ACU is always required for any non-critical care inpatient units including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients. If the traveler has critical care experience, we have occasionally floated them to CCU

    7 days maximum time off

    1 reference from any number of months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

    1 reference from any number of months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

    • BLS (Basic Life Support)


    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)


    • NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
