    Job Description Job Description Description The construction project manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities pertaining to the construction and maintenance of solar projects in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations

    What you'll do:
    Organize, plan, direct, coordinate, and report onsite construction activities.

    Lead the construction effort from estimating, management and schedulingManage all sub-contractors and crew members for timely completion, and quality; ensures the project is built according to plans, specifications, schedule and budget.

    Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to fall within industry market pricing and provides competitive customer bid.
    Develop and maintain quality relationships with Utility Companies and provide timely communication regarding schedules, inspections, energization, and interconnections.

    Read, interpret, and understand all project documentation such as insurance, permitting, and project schedulingWork with the Commissioning Manager to schedule and complete commissioning, reporting, and production.

    Document delays/changes; sets up staging areas as neededMaintain and monitor quality standardsReport to the management team all projects progress, new issues, resolutions, and budget and schedule compliance on a consistent basisAct as a troubleshooter on current projectsProvide and arranges timely and efficient mechanical and technical customer service during the projects warranty period.

    Assure compliance with Company safety policies and OSHA and/or MSHA safety standardsSeek cost savings through vendor negotiations, market analysis, and eliminating waste.

    Maintain a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and problem-solvingOther duties as assigned

    Our Ideal Candidate Has:
    Associates degree or comparable experience in construction technologyThree years minimum of construction project management experience in the renewable energy fieldExperienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform workProficiency with reading blueprints, plans, specs, contracts, subcontracts, and purchase ordersProficiency with Microsoft Office suiteProficiency with Project Schedules and/or MS ProjectProficiency with Procore or similar construction management softwareValid drivers license with a clean driving recordExperience working on solar construction

    Bonus Points:
    Preferred Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or a related fieldExperience installing ground-mounted solar projectsOSHA 10/30 CertifiedPMP Certified#J-18808-Ljbffr
