    We are seeking an experiencedGeneral Clerk III who has a proven track record of leading a team onsite and able to deliver.


    Position Summary:
    The role of the General Clerk IIIis to support Western Area Power Administration. Position is for both warehouse/mailroom facility and also administrative support,located inLakewood, CO.


    Responsibilities may include:
    Sort USPS mail and prepare for delivery.

    Pick-up and re-route outgoing mail.

    Prepare mail/packages for pickup by appropriate carrier.

    Receive/process package deliveries.

    Tracking overnight and ground mail.

    Obtain and apply a general knowledge of Federal government supply purchase programs.

    Maintain directory of supplies.

    Perform limited functions in the property disposal cycle.

    Perform assigned tasks in FIMS and Maximo data systems.

    Prepare and drive WAPA vehicles for maintenance and car washes.

    Make pick-ups and deliveries to on and off-site locations.

    Manage conference room scheduling (speaker phone/PA system, schedule).

    Back-up facilities manager for systems, furniture set-up.

    Perform assigned tasks in Property Management System.


    Perform minor copy machine service and maintenance (restock copier locations with paper, change toner, add staples and resolve paper jams).

    Collect monthly copier usage data.

    Collect monthly vehicle mileage from motor pool vehicles.

    Contract employee responsible for driving government-owned vehicles must possess a valid state issued driver's license.


    Manages and monitors the supply room daily, determines stock levels and inventory according to usage, restocks admin supply shelves, organizes items, monitors supply reutilization turn in area, makes determinations on what supplies can be reused or disposed of.


    Receives supply order shipments, verifies all items have been delivered, reports discrepancies, provides receive documentation to federal customer, restocks and secures supplies.


    Any and all administrative support services involving a variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following: making travel arrangements, timekeeping, taking meeting minutes, utilizing automated software tools, maintaining department files and office publications, maintaining office calendars, providing typing, copying, scanning, preparing and compiling reports, presentations, spreadsheets, mail, fax and telephone support, prepare correspondence in final form from draft or handwritten material, letters, memoranda, forms, reports, and other types of documents, and standards for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and format prior to finalizing, make arrangements for conferences and meetings, including scheduling appointments and assembling materials, provide Records Management Program support, and other administrative support functions as required.

    Qualifications

    Must be a U.S. Citizen

    Able to lift 50 lbs.

    Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.

    Require Driver's License

    Must be willing to participate in federal background investigation and drug test.

    At least 5 years of experience
