Job summary
This position has a 2-week rotation. Provides clinical support to health care professionals to ensure the delivery of quality health care services.Facilitates efficient and effective patient flow including preparing the patient for the visit/admission, and providing specific services and education as determined by the providers in accordance with licensure and policy. Performs necessary administrative duties that assure all information is current and updated.
Maintains electronic health record in basket., Maintains environment, work area equipment clean communicates any equipment malfunctions department/unit personnel Greets communicates patients significant others manner consistent caring respect Communicates collaborates anticipates needs other members healthcare team order ensure continuity quality coordination services Collects monitors patient data reports data directed Documents care consistent documentation guidelines chargeable items/services according standards Ensures processes continuously monitored quality cost effectiveness efficiency Engages process improvement activities Makes implements recommendations improve operational efficiency implement new services areas responsibility Completes required continuous training education including department specific requirements
