Description
Provide Det 6 with Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) in support of Air Dominance (4 th , 5 th , 6 th Gen Fighter Aircraft) Operational Testing (OT)Efforts are in direct support of early OT planning, infrastructure development, and testing
Develop test plan and data analysis plan inputs, developing data analysis tools and methodologies, developing accreditation methodology, assessing verification and validation documents for modeling and simulation venues, managing test data, creating products from test data to achieve test objectives, and provide written test report inputs that augment the generated technical products
Participate in data analysis and development of associated analysis tools and delivery of report-quality technical products
Primarily focusing on providing test planning inputs to ensure appropriate data collection and creating technical products that enable timely operational test reporting, with additional goals of developing and managing (including internal/external collaboration) to a unified AFOTEC Det 6 data analysis toolset shared across sites
Essential Job Functions:
Participate in Air Dominance Operational Test and data collection efforts
Conduct data analysis
Develop and manage inputs to Test Plans, Test Trials, and Test Reports
Develop/process additional supporting documentation
Assist Mission Systems Engineer to develop appropriate analysis methodologies and products
Provide expertise in data analysis techniques and software tool development
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S
Citizenship is required
A Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience
Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
Well-qualified candidates will have a minimum of 10 years experience in Air Force or Navy operations and tactics
The candidate will need fighter aircraft knowledge and test experience
The candidate shall also have experience developing test plans, reports, and other formal technical documents.
