    Position Description:


    Develop advanced novel electrified powertrain models and tools to support development and validation of next generation electrified vehicle controls and calibrations that deliver optimized operation of targeted attributes in a CAE environment.

    Perform vehicle model integration, verification, correlation validation and run simulation testing on electrified virtual vehicle models.

    Develop new technologies, methodologies and tools to automate, speed up, and continuously improve the whole process of virtual vehicle model development and application.

    Innovate and apply appropriate methods, algorithms and tools for data analytics and data visualization to support model-based calibration and optimization.

    Collaborate with xEV powertrain calibration and control teams to identify required calibration and control use cases to support development and achievement of efficient engineering processes.

    Follow defined processes to document developed models, tools and methods for the proliferation of advanced model development and model- based calibration techniques.


    Skills Required:

    Strong 1D modeling, programming and tool development skills


    Skills Preferred:

    Embedded software engineering knowledge preferred.


    Experience Required:

    2+ years of equivalent experience of Model Development and Analysis.
    2+ years of equivalent experience with Python, Matlab/Simulink, C++


    Experience Preferred:

    Familiarity with Fuel Economy, Electric Vehicle Range, Vehicle Performance, Vehicle Drivability, and Emission Regulatory Requirements Worldwide


    Education Required:

    MSc in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer engineering/computer science or equivalent
