    Description

    Title of Position:
    Family & Consumer Science/CTE Teacher - Aaron Mossell Junior High


    Qualifications:

    • Working knowledge of Common Core Learning Standards and NY state assessments
    • The ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool
    • Uncompromising commitment to continuous improvement
    • Broad experience with a variety of instructional techniques
    • Ability to differentiate instruction for accelerated and delayed learners
    • Evidence of strong classroom management skills with age appropriate experiences
    • Flexibility, enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to develop programs and collaborate
    with and support other staff

    • Loyalty and evidence of being a team player
    • Commitment to equity and inclusion of all members of the school community

    Requirements:
    NY State certification in Family & Consumer Science, business, health,
    technology, computer science, trade and technical education, and/or
    agriculture at the appropriate level

    Position Available:
    September 1, 2024


    Salary/Stipend:
    $43,877 - $55,064
