    THE JOB

    As a Catch Ultra Lounge Hostperson, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering our upscale lounge. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that guests feel welcomed, valued, and have an exceptional experience throughout their visit. You will manage the guest list, coordinate reservations, and oversee the seating arrangements to optimize the flow of guests and maintain the ambiance of the lounge. Additionally, you will assist with various guest service tasks and support the overall operation of the lounge to uphold its reputation for excellence.

    DAY TO DAY

    • Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant and provide a warm welcome.
    • Manage the guest list and reservations, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
    • Coordinate seating arrangements to accommodate guest preferences and optimize space utilization.
    • Maintain a tidy and organized entrance area, keeping it free from clutter and obstacles.
    • Provide information about restaurant offerings, promotions, and special events to guests.
    • Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortable and satisfied with their seating.
    • Communicate effectively with lounge staff to coordinate guest needs and requests.
    • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
    • Assist with coat check services and other guest amenities as needed.
    • Monitor guest flow and address any issues that may arise to ensure a smooth operation.
    • Uphold the lounge's standards of service excellence and contribute to a positive atmosphere.
    • Collaborate with the management team to implement improvements and enhance guest satisfaction.
    • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
    • Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed about lounge policies and procedures.

    IDEAL CANDIDATE

    • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hospitality establishment.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
    • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Ability to remain calm and composed in fast-paced and demanding situations.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the operational needs of the lounge.
    • Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills are desirable.
    • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be 21 years of age or older
    • Work varied shifts to include: weekends, holidays, and on-call
