    Description
    IMMI is seeking a qualified and highly motivated individual to fill the role of Director of IT Infrastructure.

    The Director reports directly to the VP of Information Technology and manages the primary functional groups of the IT Infrastructure team, consisting of Networking & Telephony, Systems Administration, and Help Desk.

    IMMI is a growing manufacturing company started in 1961. IMMI recently became an ESOP, allowing team members to become 'owners' and share in the company's future success. IMMI is a dynamic company serving over eleven different markets, for hundreds of customers, in multiple countries.


    LOCATION:
    Onsite- Westfield, IN with hybrid flexibility


    RESPONSIBLITIES:
    Managing IMMI's IT Infrastructure team, with emphasis on cybersecurity and IT governance management.

    Strong people management skills, with an emphasis on servant leadership principles.

    Manage IMMI's Networking team tasked with supporting networking & telephony technologies, to include:

    Cisco Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches

    Cisco wireless LAN controllers and access points

    Silver Peak/HP Aruba SD-WAN routers

    FortiGate firewalls (physical & virtual)

    Cisco Unified Communications telephony system

    Microsoft Teams telephony systems (currently in development)

    Responsibility for upholding the infrastructure team's 24/7/265 availability and uptime standards

    Strong knowledge of IT governance standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST SP

    Strong knowledge of general IT Infrastructure technologies (Microsoft Azure, MCSE-related skills).

    Oversight of frequent IT security audits at all global sites.

    Creation of an annual IT Infrastructure security risk analysis & mitigation plan.

    Working directly with users and managers in all IMMI departments on projects and daily tasks.

    Managing information and data access (Data in Transit).

    Managing relationships with IMMI software and hosting vendors (Microsoft, HP, Dell, CDW, etc.)

    Monitoring and improving identity security across IMMI's wide and local area networks.

    Cybersecurity analysis:
    Work with outside vendors to oversee annual penetration testing.

    Analyze potential vulnerabilities by identifying threat patterns and possibilities for a security breach.

    Establish processes that mitigate and hasten recovery from cyberattacks, including emergency response protocols.

    Analyze and implement new security protocols for greater efficiency against any threat or malfunctions.

    Reporting security analysis results and findings to executive IT management.

    Maintaining the regulatory systems about ISMS policy (Information System Management Systems).

    Investigations of Security breach alerts.

    Recommend modifications in legal, technical, and regulatory areas that affect IT security.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    The ideal candidate should have the following characteristics:

    Bachelor's degree in an appropriate IT-related field from an accredited college/university. Bachelor's degrees in non-IT majors will be considered with appropriate

    experience and/or certifications.


    Overall experience: 4-6 years of networking experience, preferably in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a senior or network leadership role.


    People Management:
    The Director will initially manage two direct reports (Sr. Network Administrator and Manager of Systems Administration), with a total team size of 10. Prior people-management experience will be highly preferred. Additional direct reports to be added as the team grows.

    Ownership:
    This role will "own" all aspects and responsibilities of the IT Infrastructure team.

    The successful candidate will have a "take charge" attitude and will be a hands-on leader and subject matter expert in IMMI's critical networking and infrastructure technologies.


    Communication:
    Superior verbal and written communication skills are an absolute requirement.

    The successful candidate must be comfortable speaking in front of small or even large groups, for the purpose of conduction training sessions and technical support calls.

    A high level of English proficiency is a must.

    Global Support:
    Prior experience supporting multiple global sites is highly desired.

    IMMI has manufacturing plants and warehouses in the following countries:
    United States, Mexico, China, England (UK), Italy.

    Additional characteristics that would be a competitive advantage are:

    Active certifications in the following:
    CISSP (ISC2) - Certified Information Systems Security Professional

    Cisco (preferably CCNP level)

    Fortinet certifications

    SD-WAN certifications, preferably Silver Peak (now called HP Aruba)
