- Spearhead and supervise the daily operations & maintenance activities
- Implement and execute a comprehensive planned maintenance program
- Ensure that the predictive/preventive maintenance requirements are programmed into the maintenance management system
- Provide effective management and support to the fuel coordinator, ensuring safe and efficient operations
- Set operational goals and conduct performance reviews to optimize team performance
- Prepare and generate work schedules, operation reports, budgets, and other relevant documents
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager in planning and coordinating planned outage activities and capital improvement initiatives
- Actively participate in recruiting and hiring endeavors to attract top talent
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance at all times
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of supervisory experience within a power plant setting
- Must have O&M experience
- Proven proficiency and hands-on experience with power generation equipment, particularly biomass-fired boilers
