    We're looking for a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) for an immediate travel opening.

    The Cath Lab Tech must have 1 year of experience. Additional requirements are below.

    Cath Lab Techs assist doctors during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular procedures, and structural heart procedures. They scrub, monitor, and assist providers as requested.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Preparing procedure rooms with adequate stock and instrument sterilization.

    • Preparing patient and equipment for procedures by preparing the site of entry, draping, arranging instruments, and calibrating equipment.

    • Operating and ensuring quality control of equipment used in the cardiac cath lab.

    • Scrubbing in during procedures and assisting with catheter maneuvering.

    • Recording data using hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.

    • Monitoring patient hemodynamic status during procedures.

    • Participating in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.



    The Cath Lab Tech should be able to stand and walk for long periods and bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.

    Requirements include 1 year of experience, BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification, and state specific licensing when required.
