    **Basic Horsemanship for Individuals with Disabilities**


    Equest Special Riders offers classes in basic horsemanship to individuals with disabilities. Classes are held on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. To participate, you must be at least 14 years old and able to walk for 45 minutes at a time in our sand arena.


    We are seeking volunteers who can commit to attending classes on a consistent basis each week. This can include volunteering every week, every other week, or just one or two sessions per month.


    Our ability to offer classes depends on having enough qualified volunteers ensure safe rides for all participants.
