Burlington - 40hrs (Mon-Fri, 10am-6:30pm, Rotating Weekends and Holidays), 32.5hrs (Mon-Fri 1:45pm-8:30pm, Rotating Weekends and Holidays), and Per Diem (As Needed)

Chelmsford - 40hrs (Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm, Rotating Weekends and Holidays), 20hrs (Mon-Fri, 2:15pm-6:15pm, Rotating Weekends), 20hrs (Mon-Fri, 1pm-5pm, Rotating Weekends and Holidays), and 20hrs (Mon-Fri 2pm-6pm, Rotating Weekends and Holidays)

Chestnut Hill (West Roxbury) - 20hrs (Mon-Fri, 2:30pm-6:30pm, Rotating Weekends and Holidays), and 20 hrs (Mon-Fri, 8am-12pm, Rotating Weekends and Holidays)

Concord - 40hrs (Mon-Fri, 9am-5:30pm, Rotating Weekends and Holidays), and Per Diem (as needed)

SUMMARY
Obtains blood samples and other non-blood specimens from patients and may deliver samples to the laboratory. Provides factual information concerning laboratory tests, according to standard procedure. The job tasks will vary based on the needs of the site.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required or non-U.S.

High School diploma deemed equivalent after evaluation of the diploma by either Center for Educational Documentation (CED) or North American Education Group (NAEG) (or equivalent education, training or experience).

CPR and Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) certification preferred. Graduation from a Phlebotomy technical training program strongly preferred. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.

EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of medical terminology obtained through previous medical practice experience preferred (up to 1 year).

SKILLS
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing required. Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation required. Proficiency in the use of Lab Information Systems (LIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
