We have an immediate opportunity for a Field Engineer for our Parsippany, NJ location.

Responsibilities:

Provide daily oversight and documentation of all elements of the work scope to ensure construction/remedial activities are being conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Document all activities for preparation of the Final Engineering Report and Site Management Plans.

Documentation will include:
oPhotographs

oWritten notes

oCompilation and tabulation of project related paperwork (manifests, etc.)

oResolution of construction related issues.

Participate in project-related meetings at the Site during the course of construction.
Prepare daily and monthly reports for regulatory agency submittal.
Communicate regularly with Project Management and Engineering office staff.
Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting the Community Air Monitoring System to ensure it is functioning correctly and accurately.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER trained w/current 8-hr Refresher.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
The ability to work outdoors in the cold and/or heat for up to hours per day.
The ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
Basic computer skills, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
Computer Skills must include Microsoft Windows Word and Excel.
Excellent driving record.
A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
