    ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Brevard, North Carolina.

    RN Position Job Notes:

    Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

    RN - PCU

    Job Details:


    • Work in a 30-bed acute care unit providing care for med-surg to ICU level patients

    • Patient ratios: SD/ICU 2-4:1, Med-Surg 5-6:1

    • Weekend rotation includes 3 Mondays and Fridays per 6-week scheduling period

    • Holiday coverage per staffing matrix

    • Must have BLS certification

    • ACLS certification must be completed prior to end of orientation

    • RNs with ICU/Stepdown experience preferred

    • Staff with 1 year med/surg experience preferred

    • Work with equipment including IV pumps, SCDs, Nova Stat glucometer, wound vac, Baxter feeding pump, lift equipment, and Pyxis

    • EMR system: Cerner

    • Perform typical procedures including IV starts, CVL, arterial lines, Foley catheters, EKG monitoring, and wound care

    • Utilize Team-Based Care model with daily multidisciplinary meetings

    • Must be able to function in fast-paced, ever-changing environment

    • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for nurses

    • Float to TCU as needed
