    BENTELER Automotive is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.

    As a Process Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning and optimizing complex manufacturing processes to meet defined costs, technology standards, deadlines, and customer targets.

    Position Responsibility
    Plan complex manufacturing processes, considering production capacities and layouts
    Create performance descriptions for equipment
    Obtain offers for equipment and parts procurement
    Conduct international construction meetings with machinery and equipment suppliers
    Participate in the final approval and technical release of production and test equipment
    Coordinate with internal and external tool and mechanical engineering companies
    Develop new manufacturing processes
    Support and advise product development from a technical perspective
    Contribute to continuous improvement within the designated area of responsibility
    Candidate Requirements
    Minimum five (5) years of working experience in a relevant role
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Higher education preferred)
    Previous Project Launch experience
    Previous Program Management experience
    Ability to travel up to 20% within West Michigan
    Preferred experience with ABB Robotics and ABB Robot Studio, Welding, and/or Controls
