- Prepare and set up the interventional radiology suite, ensuring all equipment and supplies are readily available.
- Scrub in for procedures, maintaining strict sterile technique throughout.
- Assist the radiologist and other team members during interventional radiology procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and provide immediate assistance as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and procedure documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist in post-procedure patient care and recovery, including transporting patients as necessary.
- Stay current with the latest technologies and techniques in interventional radiology through continuous learning and training.
- Must be registered as a Registered Technologist / Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist with either ARRT or CCI
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required through either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and procedures.
