    Job Overview

    We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to help patients recover from injuries and illnesses. This role involves working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist with exercises, massages, and other therapeutic techniques.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in developing treatment plans for patients
    • Help patients perform exercises and stretches as prescribed by the Physical Therapist
    • Administer therapeutic techniques such as massages and electrical stimulation
    • Monitor patients' progress and report any changes to the Physical Therapist
    • Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue at home
    • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

    Requirements:

    • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field
    • State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work well in a team environment
    • Physical stamina and dexterity to assist patients with mobility and exercises
    • Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and equipment
