    What you will be doing:


    A Quality Engineer (QE) is an in depth customer contact that liaises between the customer, internal quality and manufacturing groups; coordinates and oversees quality, design and manufacturing concerns for the YII Business Development Group; supports AQP / Launch Readiness support; provides leadership to other team member / disciplines; offers the necessary support to protect the customer from any concerns with YNA/YII-supplied products.

    QE:

    Provide guidance and instructions to colleagues using best practices and internal / external knowledge to troubleshoot and develop quality solutions.

    What you will bring to the table:

    Ensure any metrics are accurate and published on time
    Assist Management in identifying and implementing actions to improve metric performance
    Communicate and facilitate resolution for inadequate actions for GQRS items from support functions
    Provide input to Management to enhance group communications, metrics and customer deliverables
    Facilitate ISO/TS/AS registration
    May review and approve quality ARs, GQRS concerns and root cause analysis for other QEs.
    May coordinate and oversee warranty-related events
    May provide leadership to other QEs
    May assist in the development and monitor the implementation of training plans for QEs
    May train / mentor less experienced REs on responsibilities, processes and procedures
    May provide guidance and define priorities in the absence of QE Management
    May participate in both internal and external meetings in the absence of QE Management
    May provide feedback to Management regarding REs' performance and customer focus
