    Establish Finance and Accoutning SOPs by formalizing a team of exisitng accountants and financial analysts.

    Client Details

    Our client is an internationally recognized shipping NVOCC. They are expanding their US presence and going through an acquisition that requires a strong finance leader in the US.

    Description

    Participate in daily management of the company, support business development through strengthening financial management
    * Manage the monthly financial close process and reports preparation
    * Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies, ensure company policies and procedures are followed in the group
    * Participate in the implementation of new operation and finance system
    * Get involved in US M&A projects and integration
    * Enhance fund efficiency through treasury management
    * Ensure compliance with internal control policies, manage compliance and tax risks
    * Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely and successful audit results
    * Produce timely and efficient budget, prepare analysis of financial statements and variances to budget
    * Internal finance management and financial reporting

    Profile

    Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
    * Professional certifications such as CPA / ACCA
    * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, familiar with IFRS and finance report consolidation
    * Familiar with major accounting system applications and databases
    *
    More than 7-8 years' finance management experience in global freight forwarding or other logistics-related companies
    * Experience in Big 4 or 2nd tier audit firm preferred
    * Strong cooperation and communication skills, second language Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) preferred
    *
    Excellent skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
    *
    Able to independently lead local finance team, results-oriented, have good communication skills and team spirit

    Job Offer

    $140,000 -$150,000 Health, Vision, Dental, and 401k
