JOB SUMMARY:

A restaurant expeditor acts as the crucial liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of meals to diners. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Expeditors collaborate closely with chefs, line cooks, and servers to coordinate orders, verify presentation standards, and guarantee each dish aligns with customer preferences and dietary requirements. They maintain clear communication channels, manage order flow, and contribute significantly to a seamless dining experience. Restaurant expeditors play a pivotal role in upholding the restaurant's reputation for quality service and culinary excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent.
• Applicants must possess a strong dedication toward learning and motivation to progress in a restaurant dining environment.
• Possess effective communication skills, positive attitude, and professionalism.
• Responsive to constructive feedback from Chefs, Managers and/or staff.

• Clear communication and listening skills
• Empathy, conflict resolution and a positive attitude
• Top-tier time management, multitasking, and situational awareness skills
