    Description

    Job Title

    The Sales & Marketing Database Systems Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of our Database Systems and related Martech software. This position focuses on enhancing productivity through database management, ensuring data cleanliness, and promoting best practices across the team.

    This is a hybrid job that requires in-person office days on Mondays and Wednesdays at The Cliffs support center in Travelers Rest, South Carolina.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • User Support: Provide assistance with log-ins, technical issues, functionality enhancement requests, and managing user access at both object and record levels.
    • Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the SME for users of database systems, understanding internal stakeholders' responsibilities and processes to enhance user experience and training.
    • Training and Development: Facilitate training sessions for new users and support rollouts of new or updated features and tools.
    • Data Security and Integrity: Audit and execute security and data integrity initiatives.
    • Data Management: Prepare and execute data uploads and exports.
    • Delegated Admin Support: Support and train Delegated Admins effectively.
    • Custom Solutions: Develop declarative components in Salesforce to meet specific business needs.
    • Content Access: Update content access to enhance user experience, focusing on page layouts and Lightning Pages for both Desktop and Mobile.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with Developers and Outside Consultants to coordinate timelines and project requirements.
    • Automation: Aid in transitioning legacy automation logic to a unified automation tool, currently Flow, adhering to best practices.
    • New Automation Processes: Create and maintain new automation processes following industry best standards.
    • Automation Alignment: Develop Automation that aligns with business processes, enhancing data integrity and user experience.
    • User-Oriented Training Materials: Create and maintain user-oriented training materials for Sales & Marketing database systems.
    • Change Management: Work alongside the Director of Sales & Marketing Database Systems to document change management processes within the database systems.
    • Testing and UAT: Conduct testing and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new and existing projects.
    • Reports and Dashboards: Maintain, design, and audit reports and dashboards in Salesforce and DOMO.
    • Additional Projects: Support the Director of Sales & Marketing Database Systems with additional projects as needed.
    • Travel: Travel as necessary to support SSP business units.
    • Confidentiality: Ensure confidentiality across all records within the databases.

    Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Systems, or equivalent work experience.
    • Certification: Salesforce Admin Certification 201 is required.
    • Experience: Two to three years of experience in a related position is preferred.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in administering core Salesforce functions and the Lightning UI, including user management, roles and permissions, custom objects, page layouts, custom fields, and approval processes using Flow.
    • Familiarity: Familiarity with Force.com and Custom Object Architecture is preferred.
    • Software Skills: Ability to utilize Excel to support database audit and maintenance needs.
    • OEM Experience: Experience with HubSpot and Propertybase (Salesforce OEM) is a plus.
    • Google Workspace: Familiarity with Google Workspace is preferred.
    • Languages: Excellent communication skills in both oral and written American English.
    • Soft Skills: Strong technical skills with a mindset focused on leveraging database and workflow-oriented software.

    • Vision and Hearing: Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
    • Travel: Must be available to travel on occasion to locations for training and/or conferences for future educational development as well as travel to offsite sales & marketing events.
