    Position Summary. This is a Relationship Banker position that provides a high level of service and fosters long-term banking relationships, acting as the owner of the client experience ensuring that all client expectations are exceeded. Refers to, and/or collaborates with other professionals within the bank to provide additional services, including investment and trust. Serves as a universal banker by providing backup to the teller and the reception desk.

    Essential Functions:
    • Assesses and determines individual client needs to identify the FineMark services that will best meet those needs.
    • Based on individual client needs and in partnership with other banks, lending, trust, and investment professionals, provide and deliver various types of services (e.g., banking, loans, trust).
    • In all client interactions, places an emphasis on relationship building and participates in the development of new solutions as client needs change.
    • Opens a variety of deposit accounts for clients (checking, savings, money market, IRAs, and CDs) and provides additional services for business clients such as remote deposit.
    • Cultivates banking relationships through community involvement and networking, including participation in bank events and functions. Follows up with contacts and prospects to cultivate and foster long-term client relationships.
    • Maintains contact with new and existing clients to enhance the client relationship and to develop referrals.
    • Performs account research and maintenance and assistance with online banking.
    • Responds to client inquiries and address all client concerns in a timely manner to achieve satisfactory long-term solutions.
    • Acts as a backup teller and receptionist as needed.
    • Maintains client files on Salesforce (contact management system).
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned by management.
    • Required regular attendance at the FineMark location designated in this job description, during regular business hours, or assigned hours for the position, is required. This is not a remote work position
    Position Qualifications:
    • A minimum of three (3) years banking experience in a client service role, preferably with a wealth management bank
    • Bachelor's Degree (or the equivalent of 5+ years related banking experience)
    • FIS software experience a plus
    • Strong mathematical and analytical skills required
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word and Excel
    • Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
    • Acts as a team player
    • Possesses the ability to make decisions with limited supervision

    Visual Acuity Requirements. Close visual acuity and the ability to adjust focus, with or without correction, are required to perform activities such as, viewing a computer monitor or written materials and documents; reading; writing; preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; close visual inspection. Some distance vision and color vision may be necessary.

    Environmental Conditions. A person is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and only exposed to moderate noise; they may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts or machinery such as a copier/printer.
