    We are seeking a dynamic candidate to join the Primary Health Solutions team as a Data Analyst at our Administration office.

    A day in the life of a Data Analyst

    Compiling and organizing complex healthcare data to solve business problems.
    Analyzing data to assist in delivering optimal healthcare management and decision making.
    Using healthcare data to achieve administrative needs and goals.
    Understanding data storage and data sharing methods.
    Investigating data to find patterns and trends.
    Understanding healthcare business operations.
    Utilizing different data sources for analyses.
    Converting data into usable information that is easy to understand.
    Developing reports and presentations.
    Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting; communicate insights to management.
    Define organization-wide metrics and relevant data sources.
    Select, configure, and implement analytics solutions.
    Oversee analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality.
    Monitor the quality of data submitted to regulatory agencies.
    Identify and quantify data issues within the organization and assist in the development of plans to resolve data issues.
    Develop, document, and perform testing and validation as needed.
    Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights.
    Support regular data management processes and ad hoc user requests.

    Requirements


    Success Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, healthcare administration, or public health is required.
    Minimum of 3 years' experience in data analysis or equivalent analytic experience.
    Minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting.
    Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling.
    Experience with tools such as Tableau and PowerBI for creating data visualizations.
    Understanding of database relationships.
    Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
    Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within mid-size to large-size healthcare organizations.
    Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction.
    Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data.
    Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership.
    Basic knowledge of coding in either SQL or SAS.
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write clear and concise routine reports and correspondence.

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the proficiency in practice management. Must also be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.

    Ability to work effectively and independently with all levels of clinical and administrative staff within the health centers and with community leaders.

    Demonstrates program development and implementation skills.
    Ability to represent the organization effectively in a variety of settings and with diverse communities. Demonstrates understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures.
