    ChampionX is currently looking for an OGI Technical Trainer Specialist in Houston, TX. The OGI Technical Trainer Specialist will lead OGI training, test ChampionX products, and assist in demonstrations, troubleshoot equipment, and support the technical support team.

    What You Will Do:
    • Prepare and conduct Internal and External OGI Training.
    • Evaluate technical support and inside sales personnel to identify areas of improvement.
    • Perform Product Testing of ChampionX OGI Products.
    • Assist Business Development Managers with Product Demonstrations.
    • Troubleshoot Equipment and Assist technical support team.
    • Attend routine inspections of processing and production facilities to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local air quality regulations to obtain field data to be used in trainings.
    • Determine overall effectiveness of programs and trainings by requesting feedback and making improvements as necessary.
    • Responsible for the safe and effective operation of unmanned quadcopters and hexacopters (DJI Matrice), including risk management and mitigation.
    • Responsible for transport of drones and equipment to and from measurement sites in the company-owned vehicle.
    • Take an active role in flight planning, especially with regards to flight safety, compliance, airspace reviews, and all other operations.
    • Data acquisition of atmospheric measurements using a variety of sensors and chemical analyzers to meet project requirements.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • Optical Gas Imaging Experience
    • Experience in Industrial Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) Programs
    • Three (3) years' experience in oil and gas or downstream industries.
    • Effective communicator with all personnel from field staff to executive management
    • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, inclusive of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Strong interpersonal skills, including all forms of communication, conflict management, relationship development, collaboration, and ability to successfully influence others.
    • Must be willing to travel.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with Ventus OGI and other commercial cameras.
    • Level 1 Thermographer Certification.
    • UAS FAA 107 License.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Mechanical skills.
    • Ability to work independent.
