We are looking for skilled nurse educators to join our simulation and skills team at Joyce . This position is located at our Draper, Utah campus.

As a Nursing Faculty member in Simulation/Skills, you'll provide hands-on, experiential training in our world class, SSH accredited simulation center.

The incumbent may be floated to the various areas of the simulation/skills center according to the needs of the department.

You will have the opportunity to be part of a team on the leading edge of nursing simulation and preparing the next generation of nurses at Utah's largest nursing university.

The Joyce Johnson Center of Simulation is packed with industry-leading medical technology including high-fidelity robotic patient mannequins, life-like synthetic cadavers, and realistic clinical environments.

You will guide immersed, real-world, simulated scenarios to help students develop valuable technical skills.

Evaluate students and provide documented feedback

Obtain and maintain certification in the American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) as a provider and as an instructor
May be required to substitute for other skills lab and simulation courses
Submit suggestions and supportive data for improving curriculum
Maintain integrity of curricular offerings
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

What you've accomplished:
Required
A Master's Degree in Nursing
Unencumbered RN license in the State of Utah
Preferred
~ APRN or appropriate equivalent for content area
~2-3 years of teaching / simulation experience
