- The Lead Data Center Technician prioritizes proactive end-user customer service through various channels such as phone, email, and face-to-face interactions, as well as Databank's internal case management systems.
- Responsible for accurate management of incoming and outgoing customer packages and maintaining facility cleanliness.
- Expected to handle trouble tickets and remote hands requests from initiation to resolution as a part of the Operations Team.
- Tasks include installation of various circuits like Ethernet, Sonet, and Dark Fiber, as well as monitoring critical systems and ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Supervising all Vendor Maintenance Activities within the Data Center and ensuring adherence to company cabling standards.
- Responsible for power monitoring, inventory management, and maintaining facility cleanliness for optimal site Tour Readiness.
- Trustworthy and able to work independently, possessing the aptitude to learn quickly and apply new knowledge effectively.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Center Operations, familiarity with industry terminology, trends, and best practices, as well as practical knowledge of Windows operating systems, circuits, network cables, switches, firewalls, and storage systems.
