    Dogology University, a premier focused-based dog training company located in Canton, MI is seeking a highly motivated & self-driven Sales Representative to join our sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop innovative strategies to achieve sales goals, as well as make meaningful connections with our customers.

    Sales Representative skills and qualifications:


    • Customer service skills to listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needs

    • Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and network

    • Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a sale

    • Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customers

    Sales Representative Responsibilities:


    Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective prospects

    • Perform cost-­benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

    • Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships

    • Reach out to customer leads through calling

    • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

    • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

    • Analyze and track sales and status reports

    • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new services.

    • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

    • Continuously improve through coaching and feedback

    • Requirements:
    • Must provide own transportation.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Must be open, optimistic and eager to learning

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere.
    • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
    • Must possess effective communication skills.
    • Must possess strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills and social perceptiveness.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Microsoft Office and electronic mail proficiency.
    • Goal oriented, focused, and possess the ability to excel with minimal supervision.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit with the motivation to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
