Job DescriptionThe 12th Judicial District Attorneys Office is seeking Assistant Trial Attorneys, Trial Attorneys, & Senior Trial Attorneys.
Job Duties: This position provides for the prosecution of criminal and non-criminal cases. Incumbent handles a variety of misdemeanors and lower level felony cases, such as DWIs and bad check cases; does legal research for felony cases for higher level Attorneys; assists in trial teams; performs non-prosecution duties as assigned and performs other related job duties. Felony work is performed under supervision. (Some duties vary depending on level of hire. Higher levels will require supervision of employees, lower levels will require supervision from higher level attorneys, ect...)
Qualifications:
J. D. degree and current license to practice law in New Mexico.
