Duties

• Prepare a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards.

Experience

• Previous barista experience in a café or coffee shop environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques within the food industry.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
