About the Role

TheNational Sales Director – Insurance Agencyis responsible for the strategic leadership of a Top 100 independent insurance broker's commercial insurance and employee benefits production teams. This isa unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing insurance organization as a senior leader. Reporting to the COO, you will develop and manage all aspects of revenue generating operations. Important attributes and strengths you offer include:

• Strong market partnerships and vendor relationships
• A vision for organic growth

Duties & Responsibilities

• Model and teach sales behaviors (planning, prospecting, presentations and closing), helping producers to manage pipelines as well as meet individual and interdepartmental production goals
• Ensure an effective recruiting, hiring, and training process
• Coach and mentor a growing team, approximately 25-30 producers in the next few years
• Focus on organic growth and production accountability, establishing and monitoring performance metrics
• Create an excellent sales-centric culture
• Implement sales procedures, meetings, reporting, and technology utilization to promote pipeline development and maximize closing and retention success

Skills & Experience

At least 10+ years of insurance industry sales and leadership experience with demonstrated success developing successful sales teams, driving profitability, and expanding business operations
