Job summary
The Vice President Controller will act as a strong financial business partner to the Executive Team..In this hands-on role the Controller will be responsible for the accounting operations of the company including management of the general ledger and accounting systems first-level financial reporting and analysis cash management and the ongoing development of the accounting staff.
Responsibilities include planning directing coordinating all accounting functions tasks preparing and issuing monthly quarterly and annual financial reports managing internal external financial statements assessing current accounting operations offering recommendations for improvement continually evaluating improving accounting internal control systems developing monitoring business performance metrics overseeing regulatory reporting managing treasury function AP payroll expense management fixed assets management other processes leading supervising coaching account team members establishing documenting monitoring team goals providing continuous feedback conducting performance evaluations fostering culture accountability collaboration continuous learning maintaining in-depth relationships with management team ensuring compliance record keeping meets auditor government agency requirements.,
