    Manufacturing EngineerThe manufacturing engineer position develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls; coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products and equipment.


    Responsibilities:


    Utilize data driven insights to identify trends, patterns and evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

    Lead and facilitate improvement projects. Coordinates the launch of new/revised products, equipment and processes including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results.
    Represents manufacturing on cross-functional teams.
    Collaborate with quality control team to ensure manufacturing processes meet and exceed quality standards. Implement measures to prevent defects and improve overall product quality. Apply industrial engineering principles to design and optimize workflows, layouts and workstations for maximum efficiency.
    Designs, develops and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
    Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes/equipment including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment. Stay updated on technological advancements in manufacturing and recommend and implement technologies.

    Troubleshooting skills to solve short- and long-term process issues through solid root cause analysis and implement solutions that eliminate such issues.

    Strong mechanical aptitudeHighly detailed and committed to producing high quality work.

    Must be able to communicate in English, as well as read, understand and follow work instructions as provided in the English language.

    Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal relations skillsMust be reliable in work performance and attendance.


    RequirementsEducation and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field, one to three years related engineering experience.
    Experience and/or training in safe work environments, capital improvement, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
    Computer assisted design (CAD) proficiency.
