    The Nurse Practitioner plays a vital role in the healthcare team by implementing standardized procedures to deliver high-quality patient care.

    Utilizing their expertise, they assess patients' conditions, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure continuity of care. This involves providing education to patients and families, participating in interdisciplinary rounds, and making referrals when necessary.

    Responsibilities

    • Implementing Standardized Procedures (SPs) to deliver high-quality patient care
    • Assessing patients' conditions and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
    • Providing education to patients and families on safe care practices
    • Participating in interdisciplinary rounds and making referrals when necessary
    • Documenting services rendered in a clear and concise manner

    Requirements

    • CA RN and CA NP License
    • MSN/DNP with Obstetrics and Gynecology WHNP or FNP Specialty
    • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • National Certification in NP Specialty
    • A minimum of 2 years of OBGYN experience in an RN or NP role
    • Previous NP experience
    • State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II, NPI#, DEA#, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES
    • Excellent writing skills for composing logical, detailed, and grammatically correct correspondence
    • Proficiency in utilizing Excel, Word, and other software programs
    • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with administrative, clinical, and academic personnel
    • Skill in working independently and following through with minimal directions
    • Ability to set priorities
    • NPII: 6+ months experience as an NP
