The People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) acts as a strategic partner to designated business units, aligning strategies with organizational goals.
This role is responsible for driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, coaching, performance, and retention, while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
The PCBP builds strong relationships with leaders and employees, providing guidance, coaching, and data-driven solutions that support both business objectives and a positive workplace culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Partnership
oPartner with leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into strategies and action plans.
oServe as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent development.
oUse People metrics and analytics to influence decision-making and measure success of initiatives.
Employee Relations
oProvide proactive and responsive guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
oConduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions to resolve workplace concerns.
oSupport leaders in fostering a positive, inclusive, and respectful work environment.
Talent Management & Development
oCollaborate with leaders to identify high-potential talent and succession planning needs.
oPartner with Talent & Development to create targeted growth opportunities.
oFacilitate performance management processes, including goal-setting, coaching, and feedback cycles including calibrations across business groups.
Compensation & Benefits
oProvide guidance on compensation structures, promotions, and job evaluations in collaboration with Total Rewards.
oSupport annual merit, bonus, and benefits enrollment processes.
Change Management & Culture
oPartner with leaders to drive change management strategies during organizational shifts.
oChampion initiatives that strengthen company culture, engagement, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).
Compliance
oEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
oMaintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.
Qualifications
oBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
o5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in an HRBP or strategic HR role.
oStrong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
oDemonstrated ability to influence leaders and drive organizational outcomes.
oExceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
oExperience with HRIS and data analytics tools.
