    Production Manager - Veteran Wanted - Perry, GA

    As a Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating, overseeing, and optimizing manufacturing processes. Your responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and budget-compliant production of goods and services. The Production Supervisor's role includes vigilant monitoring of product quality throughout development, ensuring all specifications are met within tolerances.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Champion adherence to health and safety guidelines.
    • Lead and inspire a dedicated team of workers.
    • Exercise vigilant supervision over the entire production process.
    • Collaborate closely with planning to guarantee timely delivery of production schedules.
    • Drive cost-effective production practices.
    • Guarantee on-time production of high-quality products.
    • Strategically allocate human and material resources.
    • Develop comprehensive timelines for floor operations.
    • Review and provide practical insights on estimates generated by quoters.
    • Implement client-defined and company-mandated quality standards.
    • Continuously monitor production processes, adjusting schedules as required.
    • Oversee equipment selection and maintenance coordination.
    • Enforce product standards and implement rigorous quality control measures.
    • Foster cross-departmental collaboration (purchasing, scheduling, finance, management, etc.).
    • Coordinate with other managers to align with the company's policies and objectives.
    • Administer disciplinary actions as necessary.
    • Manage employee scheduling.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
    • Generate and deliver reports on timelines, budgets, and forecasts derived from JobBoss data (overtime, scrapped material, rework, labor, equipment, etc.).
    • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by Management.

    External Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in assembly and manufacturing operations and techniques.
    • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
    • Prior managerial experience with a focus on mentoring and coaching leadership.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively document and present information.
    • Exceptional organizational abilities for managing multiple projects.
    • Oversight of engineering, procurement, and shipping efforts to ensure cost-effective and on-time delivery of assembled products.
    • Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints.
