    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY

    This role plays a key part in the success of Sanctuary by providing essential support to the Housekeeping Department. Supporting both room attendants and laundry attendants, maintaining facilities to the highest standards, and embodying Sanctuary's Commitments and Promise of Care are crucial aspects of this position.

    JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Support Room Attendants & Laundry Attendants.
    • Tasks include delivering clean linen to designated areas, assisting in cleaning guest rooms and facilities, maintaining supply rooms, and more.
    • Report maintenance issues promptly and restock linen as required.
    • Handle and store hazardous substances safely and report incidents immediately.
    • Follow procedures for key card and cart key management.
    • Respond to guest requests efficiently and professionally.
    • Carry out any other duties assigned by Housekeeping Director or management.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    The candidate must demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job effectively, meeting both physical and interpersonal demands.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS


    - Capability to handle various physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting heavy loads, and working in diverse weather conditions.

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:


    - Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively in high-pressure situations.


    - Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.


    - Display professionalism and courtesy towards guests at all times.


    - Follow instructions diligently with minimal supervision.


    - Communicate effectively in English and adhere to Sanctuary's policies and regulations.


    - Record work hours accurately and adhere to break schedules.


    - Be prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
