Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Cutting and joining metal parts for fabricating or repairing heavy equipment
• Designing and fabricating the parts required for meeting equipment needs using the manufacturer's specifications.
• Installing or removing any special equipment
• Occasionally we will send you out to one of our rock pits to do swing shift welding on one of our plants when needed. Vehicle and equipment will be provided for this job.

Qualifications

• Experience with Air Arc, cutting torches, wire feed, and stick welding.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Weld with various types of wire and rods
• Determine appropriate repair methods and procedures for both structural and non-structural repairs.
• Ability to read and build from prints.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid drivers license.
• Must be dependable and have a good attitude.

MUST HAVE WELDING/FABRICATION EXPERIENCE

This job will be mainly Day shift in Nor-Techs Shop but there will be an occasion where you will be sent to one of the Rock Pits to provide field welding on our rock crusher plants.
