    The HRIS Specialist will manage, develop and define the Ceridian Dayforce HRIS system requirements while staying ahead of system capability options while the organization continues to grow.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Duties and Responsibilities


    • Responsible for the setup and maintenance of the HRIS system to ensure data integrity of employee/organizational data
    • Partner with internal customers to develop new processes within the HRIS system to better manage the companies changing needs
    • Lead implementations of new modules for the existing HRIS system and/or lead implementation of new HRIS system, if applicable
    • Create and run reports based on workforce analytics
    • Monitor HRIS for system performance and identify processes that may need improvement
    • Ensure the HRIS system reports are properly displaying report data
    • Assist employees with HRIS questions and seek resolutions quickly
    • Create or update appropriate user documentation and procedures as needed; assist with training users on updated system functionality
    • Manage the implementation of new third party related systems (HR supported systems)
    • Perform regular trouble shooting and testing of applicable HR Systems and provide relevant and timely feedback
    • Develop Human Resources content for the online training system as needed
    • Manage special projects as needed

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Knowledge and Skills


    • Prior experience with an HRIS database is required
    • Prior experience with writing standard and advanced reports
    • Prior experience using video editing software preferred
    • Basic coding knowledge preferred
    • Advanced MS Excel skillset is required
    • Requires effective oral and written communication skills
    • Must be detailed oriented
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy
    • Ability to deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact and professionalism
    • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

    Education and Work Experience


    • Associates or bachelor's degree with coursework focusing on Human Resources, Business Management, Accounting or Data Analytics with 2+ years of experience managing an HRIS system OR
    • Any appropriate combination of education and experience
    • Ceridian Dayforce experience is preferred; comparable HRIS system experience is required
