    is a privately held corporation headquartered in Doral, Florida specializing in providing MRO solutions for the aerospace and industrial markets.

    We specialize in the repair and overhaul of commercial jet engine components for CFMI CFM56-ALL Series, GE CF6-80C, CF34-ALL Series, Rolls Royce RB211 and Pratt & Whitney PW4000.

    We also offer repair and overhaul services for industrial turbine components on the Pratt & Whitney GG4/FT4, and GG8/FT8 aero-derivative gas turbines.

    In addition, Flight Power Repair Group provides a wide range of specialized services for engines, aircraft and landing gear applications which include; Vacuum Heat Treat, Solution and Precipitation Heat Treat, Stress Relief, Shotpeening, Plasma Spray, Cleaning, Ultrasonic Inspection, FPI & FMPI, Welding, Machining, protective coating applications.


    Position Overview:


    The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production of components, ensuring adherence to schedules, and facilitating the timely completion of parts.

    Reporting directly to the VP of Production, this role will serve as a vital liaison between shop floor employees and upper management, while also being accountable for hiring new talent, and developing and training employees to maintain high production standards.

    DUTIES AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Production Oversight :
    Supervise and coordinate the production of components according to established schedules and quality standards.


    Scheduling Management:
    Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to ensure timely completion of parts and minimize downtime.


    Team Leadership:
    Lead, mentor, and motivate area leads and coordinators to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.


    Communication and Liaison:


    Act as a bridge between shop floor employees and upper management, facilitating effective communication and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.


    Talent Acquisition:


    Oversee the hiring process for new production team members, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates who align with company values and objectives.


    Employee Development:


    Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


    Performance Management:
    Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain optimal performance levels.


    Safety Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, promoting a safe and secure work environment for all employees.


    Resource Allocation:
    Manage resources efficiently, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets within budgetary constraints.


    DIRECT REPORTS MAY INCLUDE:
    Area leads and coordinators.


    QUALIFICATIONS:


    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to meet the requirements and to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    Requirements:


    Proven experience in production management or similar role, with a track record of achieving production targets and driving process improvements.

    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.

    Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

    Sound knowledge of production processes, scheduling techniques, and quality control principles.

    Familiarity with FAA and OSHA regulations.

    Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., ERP systems, MS Office suite).

    Must be able to pass a federal background check.
