    Dishwasher

    Reports to: General Manager

    Summary

    Ensures cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and equipment, performing the following tasks:

    • Removes food residue from dishes and washes by hand or loads into dishwasher racks.
    • Collects dirty utensils and pots from the kitchen.
    • Operates and maintains the dishwashing machine.
    • Washes specific items by hand (e.g. wooden boards, large pots, delicate porcelain).
    • Properly stores clean dishes and glassware.
    • Ensures availability of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils during peak hours.
    • Maintains cleaning supply inventory and orders as needed.
    • Keeps the restaurant clean, including interior and exterior areas, sweeping, window cleaning, and filter maintenance.
    • Follows restaurant rules and regulations.
    • Monitors washing machine performance and reports issues to management.
    • Transfers garbage to designated disposal areas.
    • Transfers supplies between warehouses and work areas.
    • Adheres to nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
