    JOB DESCRIPTION
    Skiltrekl is looking for an IT Vendor Manager for one of our retail clients in Richmond, Virginia.

    This individual will be supporting existing agreements that are in place with vendors, as well as negotiating their current contracts.

    You will also be responsible for onboarding new vendors and managing them through the contract duration.

    On average, this person will be managing 3-4 software vendors to start, and will onboard additional vendors down the road.

    Some of your responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:


    • Maintain and Monitor IT contracts.
    • Review IT contracts for risk mitigation and ensure they follow and align to best practices, inclusive of NDA's, MSA's, Statement of work, and license, maintenance, and software contracts.
    • Coordinate with IT team members to interview, select and negotiate with software vendors to purchase the most appropriate and cost-effective equipment economically.
    • Review licenses and/or contracts to ensure the hardware and software equipment is covered by the contract and properly documented.
    • Maintain/enhance tools for use in vendor management, including vendor tracking, analytics, and performance management tools (scorecards and dashboards).
    • Establish internal policies, standards, processes, and templates for working with vendors.
    • Analyze and evaluate change to drive continuous improvement and incorporate contract management trends.
    • Collect, consolidate, and communicate detailed reports and key vendor data to stakeholders on vendor performance, risk, and relationships.
    • Analyze problem areas and help resolve issues and disputes.
    • Collaborate with management, procurement and legal with vendor evaluation and selection criteria, procedures, and best-practice tools and templates.
    Provide oversight to vendor audits

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of five years' experience with negotiating and managing contract life cycles, with an emphasis on technology or IT service agreements,
    which would include leading contract renewals with high risk and impact to the organization.


    • Experience working with Microsoft and Oracle as a vendor / maintaining those contracts
