Patron Account Associate, Part Time - Maryville, TN

Job summary
The part-time Patron Account Associate provides face-to-face customer services checking materials out and in, sorting and shelving; facilitating new patron registration and patron account maintenance; recording/collecting fines and fees;assisting with reserves, ILLs and lost/damaged items;
resolving patron account issues;
and liaising with library users to ensure equitable access to library materials.
This position requires knowledge of library organization, resources, and systems,
a working knowledge of departmental practices and systems,
s skills in the use of small office equipment,
computer skills for data entry, word processing records accounting practices,
maintaining a professional demeanor towards customer service,
willingness to adapt to changing goals priorities needs
a professional team orientation.
Responsibilities
- Assists with materials circulation materials shelving patron referral to other Library departments;
- Celebrates collects daily library statistics as directed by Patron Services Manager;
